This is the Eskimo page with a bunch of our songs and stuff on it. Listen to our songs here in the meantime by clicking the "Free Music" link up top. "The Voyage" will only play half of the song cause I couldn't upload the whole thing for some reason. We are Experimental Alternative Indie Post-Punk, and sound a bit like the Fugs, Modest Mouse, Suicide, Sonic Youth, and Beck. We are part of the Killer Whale idea, and follow the ideals of Thest, created by Chris Taliaferro.

Eskimo formed in October 2005 in Staten Island, New York. The current members are:
Joe Pentangelo - Accordion, Vox, Guitar, Vibraslap, Percussion, Organ
Sarah Greis - Didgeridoo, Ocarina, Vibraslap, Organ, Theremin
Guy Pentangelo - Trumpet Mouthpiece, Percussion, Jew's Harp, Trumpet
Joe Figueroa - Bass Guitar
Stefanie Manzi - Drums, Percussion
We either make our own CDs or order some copies of our own stuff in pretty packages from cafepress, we order our stickers from Sticker Junkie, and we order our buttons from Fat Rat Press. Our music will be played on Got Punk Radio and WFMU, in NY and NJ.

Our store has a lot of stuff, like shirts and buttons, and our full length CD, William Wallace and the Bamboo Windchimes.
Unfamous bands who we like as either friends or musically [or both] are Double Dagger, Hope is Falling, Project Oscar, The Washington Riot, Quantice Never Crashed, Shatter me Silent [rest in peace,] Vertigo, Soy Tofu, Doctor Jon, Phallicmic, and Astrophox [rest in peace.] By unfamous I mean seriously not famous. Not underground like Sonic Youth, etc., because they're famous. If we were including all semi-underground bands we like, there'd be tons.
Record companies we like are Touch and Go records, Rough Trade Records, Merge Records, Sub-Pop records, Up Records, K Records, Kill Rock Stars, Alternative Tentacles, and some others, but our most respect goes to people who publish their own music on their own labels like Plan 9 records, etc.
