The recent historic hurricane season devastated communities along the entire Gulf Coast. Despite the time that has passed, many people are still homeless, without power, without jobs, and without hope.

I created the following video in the weeks following Hurricane Katrina and its destructive sweep. Before Hurricane Rita flooded 12,000 homes south of Houma....despite making landfall over 200 miles to our West. And although it draws attention to New Orleans, realize that every area from Beaumont, TX to Mobile, AL received damage from the storms.

We live in America. Our problems continue. And the next round of threats from nature is impending.

I hope this video makes you remember the horror of a city swallowed by wind and water. And that it gives you hope that we can rebuild the Gulf Coast hand by hand...together.

If it does mean something to you, please contact your Congressmen and women and ask them to pass legislation to build levees and rebuild the eroding wetlands.
