Our story began in the year 1990 when we won a television talent show in the Republic of Ireland. The prize for landing 1st place on the talent show was a trip to Nashville to record an album in Merit Studios under the direction of Tom Pick and the late Bobby Dyson (who was Jim Reeves base player). These guys were a revelation to work with and meeting and working with such country legends as Hargus Robbins was a dream come true to say the least.On returning from Nashville we recorded our first album simply called "Logue&McCool which achieved Gold record status. We then appeared at the Wembley Country Music Festival. What an absolutely mind-blowing experience. To play in front of 6000 people was awesome and is something we both will never forget. Plenty of television work followed our Wembley appearance, and we travelled back to Merit Studios in Nashville to record 3 more albums. The ensuing years found us travelling the highways and byways of Ireland and the UK performing at clubs and festivals, and releasing an album called "The Best of Logue&McCool. In 2006 we collaborated with a very talented producer friend of ours called Aidan McLaughlin who worked on our latest Album called Joe"s Place. To date we are kept busy doing concerts, Theatre work, and various festivals throughout Ireland and will be touring Scotland in the Spring. Thanks to DJKHBW internet radio our profile has been raised considerably throughout the world and our music is being aired in America, Europe and Australia etc. We recorded over sixty tracks in Merit studios in Nashville, many of which have not yet been released Please click on the links below and listen to a few with our pleasure.Incidentally the one in the wheelchair is McCool - the other guy is who is totally blind is Logue..We met at a party way back in 1989 and decided through our love and passion for Country Music that we wouldnt let a little thing like disability get in our way and just go for it... and you know something its been a fabulous journey, tough but extremely exciting. We have been very honoured to have sat in recording studios in Nashville with the world"s finest session musicians and to have graced concert stages with country music legends like Moe Bandy, Gene Watson and the late Freddy Fender.
