Team RIVALS.
Rivals is a new Div.1 team this year and plays in the NPPL.
They also played in the opening tournament of the PSP open Division, which quickly taught everyone they needed to concentrate their efforts on one or the other, so 7 man was chosen for their first year. The team is owned, managed, and coached by Tony Perez and Chris Grimsley, both pro players who have decided to go back and have some fun by doing it their way this year.
Our team's core players come from all over the world. We have Rafael Chavez and Andres Jimenez from Mexico, with Osvaldo Neto and Vinnie Bastos from Brazil, who, when added to Scott Oliveto, Tony and Chris from the US definetly bring an international flavor to tournament paintball.
And yes, they do fly in from Brazil for practice and tournaments!
Rivals is a proud 100% Eclipse team and we wouldn't change that for anything in the world.
We always have an eye out for a few more good players to add to our team. Our plan is to beef up our lineup, practice hard, and play semi-pro next year.
