Welcome to my little corner of the net. As a boomer, I am probably not as web savvy as many, but hey one has to start somewhere. As I approach the golden years I find a passion for guitar, having picked it up a little over 2 years ago. Thankfully with an understanding wife, I have way more guitar than my modest skills warrant. But hey, why eat hash when you can have steak. As time goes on I will get the chance to update this with pictures of my assorted guitars. Yes more than one as my wife will attest to.
This site is for me to share that enthusiam and passion I have for guitars and music with others. I have been playing for a right at 2 1/2 years. I probably should be better than what I am, but time, age and having developed elbow tendinitious last year kinda slowed me down some. Actually lost about 4 to 5 months due to the elbow. But all is fine now, and can get back into learning fingerstyle which is my real passion.
Having only been back attempting fingerstyle since last Monday 05/29/06 so everything I learned last year is mostly gone. But, with time, patience and practice it will all come back. My only regret is having waited 40 years to attempt this. Sure would have been easier in my teens or twenties rather that waiting until almost 57 to start. But at least I did give in to that urge, which I am so gratefull for. In my opinion there is nothing like it. As I stated it has become a passion. One I doubt I will every let go of. It sooths the soul as they say, although at this particular point in my progress I doubt it will sooth the savage beast.
I hope you like the site and my hope is you will possibly take something from it, perhaps my passion for guitar or music, or it ignites that passion within you for something you have left hanging for all those years and always ment to get around to. Believe me, life is too short to just let it go. Grab it and run with it. Never know where it will take you.

The song Wyoming is an original I wrote after a trip back home to visit the daughter and grandkids this past June. I hope you like it as a lot of work, sweat and emotions went into it.
