This site is about my 1971 datsun 240z Engine is l28et off 1982 280zx turbo, 5 spd ,Current mods are walbro 255 pump , r 200 differential and cvs, summit aluminum 3 core radiator, 2.5" custom downpipe. RSX seats w/nismo racing harness, autometer gauges, momo wheel, . stock boost ecu and everything else for now...more to come

FIXED THE THREAD ON DIFFERENTIAL man that was some real surgerey ended up going with a thread repairer from princess auto for $17 REAL DEAL put on a new nut and torqued that sucker! Had to completely take out the diff/cvs lower control arms for the 3rd TIME but they say its the last! Downpipe pieces were mocked up and sent to the welder to go with new bung/new o2sensor, and new turbo output flange cut by water precision jets. Should get that in 2 days from now..The interior is all done and looks sexy carpets all in seats mounted perfectly. next is racing seat belts mounted on a upper strut brace I will be fabricating soon enough. I dont want to go looking for stock acura seatbelts. Got the z31 ecu/maf and harness which will being soon enough with the swap. Iam just sick of the stock eccs and msns is cheap but not in my budget right. polished and painted the fuel rail still havent drilled/tapped anything yet. Cut a fuel plate to block off the head. Its sooo close to getting completely finished and school is coming like next week this is real bad I will have no fun with it! meehh maybe that nice cool fall weather! oo ya got this cool datsun racing flag 5x3 ft! and the garage is going to get its own pretty soon! scored some 4x4 calipers from a local garage for free there in good shape with new pads! cant wait to slap those on! probally going to do it with a master cylinder upgrade. I have new rotors go with those calipers. Got a new K&n filter. whats next I changed the tranny and diff oil I hate the smell of that shit. ......well there is some issues that need to get sorted out before driving daily. The nut on the dferential flange cant put the nut on the thread seems a little damage needs some surgerey and waiting for dealership new nut to come in. started up the car today and she doesnt idle fine at all its freaking annoying it shuts off falls on its face I hate this crappy old efi technology its veryy finnicky cant wait for msns. Need to replace the rear left wheel cylinder its shot. Right now Im researching the MS upgrade to go with injectors/fuel rail/ported intake and intercooler. AHH i cant wait much longer though I need to focus and fix those issues stopping me from driving.

wow its been more than a month and still no update! LOTS of things done to the car.....almost out on the road!!!! got the summit rad from the welder Mark did an amazing job with the brackets the rad fit very tight its touching both sides of rails. order some flexible rad hose but now just plumbed with spare hose. SO THATS THAT I finished the RSX seats and they look amazing as if someone designed the seats for this car! click on my images you'll see all the progress. The seats were a PITA so much cutting grinding drilling that I had to do but it was worth it. Now im considering hooking up the heaters / side air bag and having heated seats?@ maybe what else was there. Ah there was the boost gauge got the fittings and tube for that then mounted inside gauge pod. same for the oil. volt shouldnt be hard havent done..and the water the sensor is touching the inside housing of thermostat I went to plumbing store to look for an adaptor too make the thread part of it longer. I think I will leave the gauges they way they are wont do the VOLT and water till I find somewhere else to put hem thinking of the heat ducts? for the boost though concield. Installed the momo hub and wheel looks good. The intake is getting welded shut this is going to look nice after grinding its going to made with 60mm Tb, a fuel rail that I fabbed with skyline injectors. The flange for downpipe is done just looking for mandrel SS piping. tomorrow iam going to do the carpetting, new(er) rotors/calipers/pads some more wiring, fab new batterey tray, change oil of tranny and differential. STILL WAITING for that front spoiler and K&N filter thinking of doing a bigger IC than the supra TT that I have. still got the Manual boost controller, rear disk, 4x4 calipers/zx rotor ,MSNS and I will be TOTALLY DONE maybe paint job next year with suspension. ;) KEEP checking the site oh yah I won a z31 turbo ecu harness and maf on ebay so might do that before msns OH YAH helped andrew with his engine swap then did his tranny couple days later that things going to be mean check it out i took some pics for him www.putfile.com/240zrb

Been a while for an update...hmm what have I been doing? not too much actually haha let see I ordered oil/water/volt autmoter phantom gauges(SO MUCH FOR THE WHITE GAUGE FACES) fuel rail extract going to tap and fabricate it for skyline injectors w/ barb fittings, Stainless Steel 3'' tubing 7 ft, SS 2.5" J bend for downpipe fabrication, looking for a good toned resonator/muffler combo, ordered a front aftermarket spoiler, bought some aluminum plating for RSX seats brackets. Oh ya which leads to the real work I have been sorta doing cut off the old rails on the seats did trial fit they still sit high for my taste but it will do should be done that this weekend. My radiator still didnt arrive but no worries. I am really thinking of doing the MSNS isntallation I just want to learn as much about it.

ordered a summit aluminum radiator, r 200 flange 8mm bolt configuration (instead of modding the driveshaft) got the curved bar for the control arm assembl going to sand blast and paint it --> put it in, ordered my t3 304 SS flange for DP. ITS CRUNCH TIME now while this stuff is being delivered I am going to fabricate seat brackets for RSX seats. Then I should be finished with the interior and will put pics all at once SAME time I am going to source the rest of the exhaust pieces. man theres so much I want to do its slowing me down cause im jumping from one area to another

Finished with the r200 diff/cvs/mbar/companian flange all bolted in 2 things pissin me off the control arm assembly is touching the mbar dont know if its a big deal I think its cause of early (71 and before) control arm assembly is straight and non curved like the rest. The other major thing is Driveshaft Looking for 280z r 200 driveshaft If anyone has it please email me mafia_neo@hotmail.com If not I'll I have to get the t5 driveshaft shortened.

Got the r 200 mustache bar from Cyind on zcar then got the 280zxt stub axles from wayne monteath beed blasted thanks guys! the diff is mounted right now ...took off the 280zxt dust shields welded the 240z shields on now waiting for the 280zt nuts and washer from dealership to get the diff and cvs done.

Started the car up got most of the dash wiring put in the brighter gauge lights from h4 lights (didnt do much of difference) tach still not working! rad is leaking! I was thinking of a recore but for less prices I can get a 3 core row custom aluminum racing rad so thats my next move with it.

Bought rsx seats (side impact bags) did a trial fit they sit very high thinking of taking off rails and doing a one time placement. finished the dash got my white face gauges all in. Recieved my boost gauge and momo horn button for the momo wheel waiting for my momo hub now...(the momo steering wheel matches the seats) The interior is going to be very nice NOT RICED OUT but modern clean look and I think it will turn out great...but I have too many things going on right now to get anywork done shouldnt of started on interior till the rear end is done :(
